Donate Cars For Christ is an organization that is committed to meeting the social commandments of the Bible. We desire to raise funds to supporting the ongoing effort of Christian organizations that are committed to fulfilling God's social commandments to help the poor and the homeless (Luke 18:22), to help the widows and the fatherless (James 1:27) and promoting the gospel of the Lord to the nations (Matthew 28:16-20). How do I donate my car to Donate Cars For Christ?

We have made the car donation process to Donate Cars For Christ as simple and pleasant as possible. To donate your car, please either complete our easy-to-use online car donation form or call one of our donation specialists who will walk you through the quick donation process. Once your donation has been initiated, we will pick-up your car in a timely manner and we will send you your IRS tax deductible donation receipt. How does my donation help the cause of Donate Cars For Christ?

Once we receive your donated vehicle, we will sell your donated vehicle for the highest possible value and the proceeds of the sale will be directed to one of the many organizations working to further our mission of helping those in need.

How is the value of my car donation determined?

The IRS allows the donor to determine fair market value of the car up to $500. If, however, Donate Cars For Christ is able to sell your donated car for over $500, the IRS allows you to claim the selling price as a higher deduction. As we manage each individual vehicle donation, we strive to achieve the highest possible sale price for each vehicle. If we are able to sell your vehicle for over $500, we will contact you and inform you of your new tax-deductible amount.

Does my car have to be running?

Absolutely NOT! We accept ALL car donations - whether running or non-running. Every donation has value to Donate Cars For Christ.

In addition to a car or truck, what else can I donate?

In most cases, you can also donate a boat, work van, conversion van, motorcycle, RV and even real property.

Once I finish donating my vehicle, how does it get picked up? Is there a tow fee?

Towing is free. One of our professional towing companies will contact you to schedule a date and timeframe to pick-up your vehicle at your convenience. Please have the keys and title (and any lien release) available for the tow company at time of scheduled pick-up.

Do I have to be home when my donated vehicle is picked-up?

No. If you desire for us to have your car picked up when you are at work or away, please inform the towing company specifically of the specific location of the vehicle and where you will be leaving the signed title and the keys. The towing company will leave you a tow receipt showing that your vehicle was picked up on behalf of Cars For Christ. Please remember to remove your personal belongings and take off the license plate on the day the vehicle is scheduled to be picked-up.

How long will it take to have my car donation picked up?

We work to pick-up your car at a time when it is most convenient for you. In most cases, we strive to pick-up your car within 48 to 72 hours after you have completed the car donation process. We can also expedite towing to pick-up your vehicle within 24 hours if necessary.

What documents to I need to donate my car?

All we need is the title for the vehicle you are donating and a lien release or original termination statement, if there was ever a lien holder listed on the title. Please note, however, we will need you to sign your title on the signature of seller line. Please sign your name as it appears on the front of the title. If more than one person is listed as an owner on the front of the title, all listed persons must sign on the signature of seller line(s).
